This is from the movie "From Here to Eternity" The fellow playing the bugle (Montgomery Clift) in the movie is NOT the troop bugler being demoted because he didn't want to be a boxer (it's a strange movie). This is a tribute to his friend (Frank Sinatra) who was killed by a brutal prison guard. This is just a great scene and a tribute to the power of music and TAPS. By the way, you'll also see the original SUPERMAN in this scene. |
